Magnatune is one of the only record labels on the planet whose music you can legally use in your non-commercial podcast without a collection society.

We specifically grant non-commercial podcasters a waiver to use our music without paying any fee to a royalty collection agency, such as ASCAP, BMI or SoundExchange. Because we work directly with artists, we can legally do this.

If your podcast is commercial you can obtain a low-cost commercial license from our other company iLicenseMusic in order to use Magnatune music in your commercial podcast.

If your podcast is non-commercial, we ask that you become a download member, and you will then be able to download everything at our site, and can play all our music on your podcast 100% legally without paying collecting society fees.
