Lisa Lynne and George Tortorelli have been duo partners since 1997
when they meet at an art fair in Orlando, Florida. George was primarily making
flutes and selling them in his bamboo booth. They decided to play music together
and it was a musical match made in heaven.
Lisa is a multi-instrumentalist and performer who has gained
worldwide recognition for her original music featuring her Celtic Harp. She
specializes in Traditional acoustic folk instruments and is widely acclaimed for
composing memorable and heartwarming melodies that transcend category and genre.
Lisa is founder and director of "Harps for Hearts" an innovative music program
that places live music and musicians in several California hospitals, including
City of Hope National Cancer Center and several Kaiser Permanente locations.
Lisa has received multiple grants and media recognition for her groundbreaking
interactive "Hands-on-Harps" interactive programs. Lisa was recently chosen and
one of LA's 50 most inspiring women by Los Angeles Magazine.

George is a master bamboo flute designer and player who lives in Gainesville, Florida. He
has a beautiful house surrounded by an acre of bamboo forest. He is an expert in
bamboo and has developed his flute designs in a workshop on his land. He is a
multi-faceted musician in his own right and has been so all his life.
He plays all kinds of natural flutes, whistles and recorders, guitar, mandolin,
percussion, pretty much anything he touches. He can sing like silk and writes
beautiful songs about love and nature. He is regarded by all his fans and
listeners as "Medicine Wind" as his music and concerts were so loved for the healing sound qualities of his peaceful
gatherings. He started his own company called Medicine Wind, and commenced a
successful recording career and custom flute design for fine arts festivals.
George and Lisa have been spellbinding audiences with their magical and
endearing sound, performing non-stop thought the country, including the "Windham
Hill Winter Solstice Concert" series. They are currently in high demand at the
finest art exhibits and peace gatherings across the country and you can count on
hearing much more from this enchanting duo and their heaven sent sound.
