Uncle Mean by Thursday Group Thursday Group : Uncle Mean.
Melodic composed progressive jazz.

Avoiding both excess and cliche, Uncle Mean subtly blends jazz, funk, swing, and blues in a tasty, smoldering, brew. We really like Douglas Lichterman's cunning, sometimes island-y guitar work, and saxophonist Clayton Englar, is just fantastic. His playing is lean, husky, and modern. There's a reason this band has endured since the 1970's.
