Jan Hanford-Buckman (aka "Mrs. Magnatune") met Chris Christou of Etherfysh while he was on his way to a Van der Graaf Generator reunion show and eventually discovered that he himself makes lovely, utopian synth with savvy rhythmic references—like a jazz-inflected Tangerine Dream. Lucid and highly atmospheric. "Great late-night listening," says The Encyclopedia of Electronic Music.
